To be great, you absolutely need to be focused, productive, relentless, and undefeatable in passionately pursuing projects.
You’ll love yourself more when you do more of things that you don’t love doing. You’ll be happier by becoming more productive.

When I face a problem, I ask myself “Has anyone died here?” and if not I move ahead quickly and cheerfully.

2l. Breathe like a samurai

Breathing deeply (diaphragmatic breathing) relaxes you and optimises your attention span.

2m. Chant like a monk

Sound therapy and mantra meditation tone the vagus nerve.
Mantras:

  • every day and in every way I’m getting stronger and stronger, healthier and happier, and kinder and kinder
  • I am accomplishing hard projects easily and joyfully, and continuously growing in energy, mastery and bravery

2n. See solitude as a wellness method

2o. Consider that cold showers decrease doctors

Cold immersion can lead to more positive moods, enhanced cognitive function and immune response, quicker recovery after exercise, and better cardiovascular health.

  • Know that the one who is asking questions is the one enriching the conversation.
  • The person doing the listening is the person gaining the learning
  • Many of us are rehearsing our answer while the other is talking. Not good. Be better.
