The exterior was designed in the Gothic Revival Style and was completed in the late 19th century. The store’s interior is an amazing work of art that combines both Gothic and Art Nouveau Elements. The space contains Gothic Tracery and ribbed vaulted ceilings, paired with Tiffany-inspired stained glass. The bookstore also houses an iconic staircase that curves and spirals in a fluid and organic manner.
